- You will research literature on state-of-the-art methods to train efficient convolutional neural networks with varying sensor qualities and compressed input sensor data.
- You will implement a new method to improve the training of efficient neural networks with compressed camera data.
- You will prepare datasets and perform exhaustive experiments to improve and validate the developed method.
- You will develop a novel method, which might lead to a publication at an international peer-reviewed conference, contributing to the scientific community.
- You will present your results to our team, who will support you throughout your thesis.
- You will work in a diverse team of doctoral candidates and students at the Autonomous Driving Campus, outside Munich.
- You are a master student approaching the end of your degree in computer science or related fields with focus on machine learning or artificial intelligence.
- You are familiar with deep learning and have a good understanding of machine learning and computer vision.
- You know how to train a convolutional neural network.
- Programming skills – Tensorflow, Python.
- You speak English fluently.
- You are highly motivated and able to work dynamically in a team.
